The Lane Cove House is a response to the original 1925 bungalow; sympathetic to its past and surroundings the renovation has created an enduring living space for those who reside there. Successful in blending original with new, each room is functional, purposeful and genuine. A soft and neutral colour palate was anchored by darker wood elements in the flooring and stained Tasmanian oak cabinetry.
life of the party
Backyard gatherings, lunches that last long into the night and pool parties are integral to how the house was going to be used. Reimagining the rear of the house resulted in a strong connection to the pool, outdoor deck and alfresco space that became an extension of the kitchen.
